Caroline is one of the few that’s lucky, she has two men protecting her and a load of gun power left by her parents. She used to be girly, always cheery and ready to party but the outbreak had brought out another side of her - the fighter. Her dad had taught her how to use a gun; shoot, clean and put ‘em back together. She had a rude awakening to it all, asleep one minute and the next running from the sound of her parents screams. She hid, waiting until she knew everything was clear and slowly processed it all. She packed up; food, one extra pair of clothing and then a load of guns and ammo. She came across Damon and Stefan Salvatore while in the middle of fighting off a gang of zombies, shooting their heads off one by one in a struggle before they helped. She was grateful, and excited to see other normal people. So they became what some call allies and she’s been by their sides ever since, had their backs like they have hers.
